Private by default
Your lesson text and voice recordings are not sent to a Harpd server.
Language tools run locally
Japanese readings and multilingual word highlighting are generated in your browser. Lesson text is not submitted to a reading API.
Recordings stay on device
Microphone access is requested only when you start shadowing. Recordings remain in browser memory for playback and are not uploaded.
No account required
The current product has no account, cloud lesson sync, pronunciation scoring, or server-side TTS service.
Your controls
Clear local lesson data anytime.
Use “New text” in the practice workspace to clear the current lesson. You can also remove site data through your browser settings.
