Harpd Langue is designed to work locally in your browser. You can paste multilingual text, listen, and record yourself without creating an account.
Private by default
Your lesson text and voice recordings are not sent to a Harpd server.
Language tools run locally
Japanese readings and multilingual word highlighting are generated in your browser. Lesson text is not submitted to a reading API.
Recordings stay on device
Microphone access is requested only when you start shadowing. Recordings remain in browser memory for playback and are not uploaded.
Minimal account data
A Harpd account is required to activate a lesson. Harpd stores a deterministic lesson hash, language, character count, and entitlement—not the raw lesson text or recording.
Your controls
Clear local lesson data anytime.
Use “New text” in the practice workspace to clear the current lesson. You can also remove site data through your browser settings.
